Directed by Dutch photographers Inez and Vinoodh in New York, the concept of the Valentino campaign is inspired by Flemish portrait paintings from the 17th century. An evocative use of lights and shadows allows the models; Maud Welzen, Kati Nescher, Magdalena Jasek, Irina Kravchenko, Sam Rollinson, Erika Labanauskaite, Tamara Weijenberg, Laura Kampman, Nouk Torsing and Sasha Luss to stand out from a pitch-black background.
